Fires in restaurant kitchens cause millions of dollars in loss and
damages each year. A fire can be destructive to a food service establishment frequently causing a stop to normal business
activities for days, weeks, months or even permanently. Due to the nature of cooking the hazard of fire is always present
in a restaurant. Having the resources to stop a fire in or around your cooking appliances prior to it having an opportunity

Maintenance and periodic testing of commercial cooking equipment fire
suppression equipment is vital in order to make sure that the systems functions as intended in the event of a fire. Most jurisdictions
and insurance companies require that these systems be tested in accordance with NFPA 96 in order to be compliant with local
code and/or insurance policy provisions. The service is performed every year and the links in the hood are changed every six
months and there is no interruption to regular business activity. At the end of each service, the owner is provided
with a copy of the completed service report, and a service tag is affixed to the equipment providing proof of compliance.
